Greg, Not Far From The Tree is about as cool as it gets. Through them we noticed that other small local groups or businesses were using Railpath such as Alternative Grounds. Railpath as good business? Who would have thought?

I loved Not Far From The Tree the first I heard about the initiative 5 years ago. I contacted NFFTT founder Laura Reinsborough and volunteered to do all of he corporate image design and marketable promotional design pieces. Glad to see your railway group sees the value in such initiatives.

Excellent news! As a long tern WEST resident it's an amazing addition to the city... The obvious desire and want is the 2nd phase (taking too long!). A path direct to downtown would be incredible for alternative travel in this city. Any news on phase 2???

Graig: Trailhead maps are finally up at Cariboo and Dundas West. I saw them leading a walk of the WTR on Sunday, February 21, 2010.

Linda: I agree some of the grafitti has been a negative, especially at the Viceroy building. If there is going to be painting along the trail, the work at the Fish House and the Dupont abutments are great examples.

The graffiti along the trail has become an eyesore and even some of the signs have been defaced. There have some attempts to tear down /cover up the pictures of nude women. What can we do to turn this path into something that represents the artistic abilities of the residents in the area ?
